Mission
The Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre is a proactive, anti-racist, feminist organization working to end all forms of sexual violence. We counsel and support women, educate for change and work to create a safe and equitable community.
Eligibility for Membership
All members of the general public, regardless of gender identity, over the age of 18 are eligible for membership.
Rights and Privileges of Membership
The ORCC membership provided certain rights and privileges to members in good standing, including:
- To vote at the AGM and special meetings;
- To present resolutions at the AGM and special meetings;
- To be kept informed of ORCC activities;
- To receive the ORCC newsletter.
Categories of Membership
There are two categories of members, Regular and Honourary. All members have the right to vote at the AGM and any special meetings of the membership as may be called from time to time.
1. Regular Members
There are two kinds of regular members: individuals who pay annually and individuals who pay for a lifetime membership.
Annual: $25.00 per calendar year
Lifetime: $250.00
2. Organizational Members
$50.00 per calendar year
