Board/Committee Members

The Board of Directors and Committee Chairs of the Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre (ORCC) seek women who have the following qualities: knowledge and awareness of sexual violence issues; commitment to feminist analysis and practice; and experience in at least one of the following areas: previous board and committee experience, financial management, policy development, human resources, feminist counseling, women's health, not-for-profit organizational experience, media/public relations, and/or fundraising.

Board members become a valuable resource to the ORCC by sharing their expertise and contributing their skills to the Centre and to the community as a whole.
