Student placement

The Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre accepts placement students when possible in all four of its program areas: the Counselling Program, Public Education Program, Crisis Line Program and the Finance Administration Program. If you are interested in doing an internship/placement with the ORCC, please contact the specific program coordinator, their contact information is listed below.

Students a placement with the Crisis-Line program or the Counselling Program are required to complete the crisis line training prior to starting their placement at the ORCC. Trainings are offered 3 times a year - fall, winter and summer. For more information on this training please go to Programs and Services and click on the Crisis Line Program.
