The Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre (ORCC) offers counselling services for women 16 years and older who are either recent or childhood survivors of all types of sexual assault. All counselling services at ORCC work from an anti-oppression, anti-racist, feminist approach. Our counsellors use a variety of counselling techniques including: art therapy, play therapy meditation and relaxation, EMDR cognitive behavioral therapy. The public education program seeks to inform and engage our community on all issues relating to sexual violence and to facilitate meaningful conversations on the related issues.
The ORCC is raising funds within our community to support our core purpose – to provide counselling to women, to raise awareness in our community, to educate and to empower those seeking to end sexual violence.

The Finance and Administrative Program is responsible for controlling and administering all the financial activities & capital resources of the ORCC as prescribed by the Centre’s Financial Policies & Procedures. The Program controls and administers all external revenues from federal, provincial and municipal government, the United Way as well as on-going projects.
