It’s that time again! Rally, roll, and raise in our 6th annual ‘Break the Cycle’ Spin-A-Thon fundraiser, taking place April 29th, 2017 at Cyclelogik!
The first step is to RALLY some co-workers or friends together to make a spinning team (don’t forget to make a spectacular team name)! Alternatively, you can spin as an individual ally!
Ready to ROLL to help us meet our goal?
Step 1. Register:
Be a Team Captain for a small team of 2-3, or a large team of 4 or more! Alternatively, you can spin independently as an individual ally! Click here to register now!
Large teams will get the added benefit of being able to choose whether they want to spin in the morning or afternoon (if spinning in unison).
Step 2. Create your page:
Once your team is registered, you’ll be able to create a team page where you can RAISE funds for the ORCC. Come up with a fun team name – there will be a prize for the favourite in the community!
Step 3. Get fundraising:
Share your page on Facebook and Twitter and get your friends and family to chip in. We’ll send you forms so you can collect donations offline too (hit up your colleagues in the lunchroom!).
Not a spinner? You can raise funds without rolling! Register as an individual and select the ‘fundraising only’ option on the registration form. Alternatively, you could also simply click here to donate now!

A large team (4+) costs $20 per person to register.
A small team (2-3) or an individual costs $25 per person to register.
*Team Captains will need to purchase registration tickets on behalf of each team member.
Team Captains: please note that in addition to your address and payment information, you will also need to provide the names and email addresses of your team members when buying their registration tickets. Team Captains need to purchase registration tickets on behalf of all team members. You will also be asked for your dazzling team name, so you might want to think about this in advance!
Spinners will get their own team pages to raise funds for survivors. Once you have purchased registration tickets for yourself and your team members, if you are a Team Captain, you will receive an email with an activation code. You will need this code to make your team page, so keep it handy!
Within 72 hours of registration, we will send you an information kit, including the Spin-A-Thon logo, a header image for your page, and fundraising tips and information. We will also keep in touch with you to provide support as you reach your goals and the event draws nearer!
On the day:
Each participant will spin for 1 hour. Beginners are very welcome! We will be in touch with you before the event to confirm your spin time (please note, only large teams of 4 or more will be able to choose whether they prefer a morning or afternoon time slot).
